Sri Tatwamasi Dixit
Founder, Ojas Foundation |
As early as the age of three,
Tatwamasi Dixit was introduced to the power and
breadth of the Vedas. Over the years, his deep scrutiny of
the Vedas under the adept guidance of his father, late
Shri Srinivasa Dixitar, helped him understand problems and
desires associated with life and living. This led him to
formulate programmes and processes for managing
physiological and psychological needs. His strategies
revolve around focusing one’s own mental energies that are
dormant and untapped, into the resolution of these
problems.
He was born in the city of
Varanasi, historically the centre of spiritual learning.
His father named him Tatwamasi which means “That thou
art” - an actualization of God or Brahman in
all of us. Tatwamasi Dixit was conferred the title Veda
Pandit at the age of 17. He has been practicing and
teaching Vedic science for more than 20 years.
His interest in the field of Energy
Science led him to Vienna where he was exposed to the
dramatically wide perspectives of Jungian philosophy, and
to the Philippines to explore different forms of healing.
He has integrated various elements of these methods with
Vedic science in healing therapy.

Tatwamasi Dixit follows a
predetermined format based on Vedic understanding of the
human body and mind to assess an individual — he sees
physical forms and then reaches a decision. Based on that
he suggests development needs integrating Vedic principles
with modern management.
He believes that mental function
follows physical form, Physical forms can be various
combinations of vata, pitta and kapha. The
mind is divided into four functional zones — survival,
conditioned, emotional, and rational. The three basic
directions of the mind – iccha, gnana and kriya shakthi –
form the third determinant of functioning.
As an example, Dixit suggests that people who work from
the “survival” zone be put into a job that requires
negotiation and those in the “rational” zone be involved
in situations requiring analysis and planning.
Using these techniques, he helps
create and strengthen organisational vision.
