Holistic Perspective
According to our ancient sciences, ADHD can be compared to a state called “Unmada” in ayurveda, which is referred as a mild disruption in brain activity. Exhibiting the tridoshik symptoms vitiation, Adhd predominately exhibits the vata vitiation as hyperactivity and restlessness followed by sudden blurp of reactions as pitta vitiation and inability to move in thoughts or disrupted tendencies in mind exhibiting kapha tendencies. However reasons can date back to mother’s emotions and stress during pregnancy or factors causing it.
